Parent Council meetings happen each month during the school year! The next meeting will be Thurs. October 1 at 6:30 in the library. We will be holding Council elections at this meeting, so come to see what it’s all about or to throw your name in for a Co-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Communications Officer, or Member-at-
Large position! Note that you do NOT need to be an elected member to participate in Parent Council meetings – all are welcome at any meeting.
FREE child care is available at the school during the meetings if you want to bring the kids! The role of Council is to advise the school principal on key issues that affect our kids’ learning and environment. We also run school community events and fundraisers to support school improvement and to further enrich our children’s learning experience.
Of course, we aim to have fun meeting and mingling with other parents, too.

The School Council BBQ originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 29th is being re-scheduled to Wednesday, September 30th due to the potential of rain tomorrow night. School Council and I look forward to seeing you there.
